Edgware to learn Chess Valley fate
Edgware will find out if they will be allowed to enter the Chess Valley League at the annual meeting on Tuesday 10th October.
Edgware are expected to be promoted to 'league status' having fulfilled the necessary criteria, including a home ground and county affiliation to Middlesex and Hertfordshire. The result would be a momentous occasion for the club, who were created in the spring of 2015.
As for potential teams next year, Edgware are likely to face Chipperfield Clarendon, West Herts and Bessborough who were all relegated from division four last season.
"We're really excited by the prospect of playing in division five next year and seeing if we can get ourselves promoted to division four. It's a great way to gauge the progress of the club" said Edgware captain, Ciaran Hosty at a local KFC.
