Edgware Cricket Club announce tour of Sussex
Edgware Cricket Club have today announced a tour to Sussex which will commence on Wednesday 16 September and run until Sunday 20 September.
The tour, which will be the most comprehensive in Edgware Cricket Club history, will see a total of four fixtures* played across five days. The club will begin the tour at Ifield Cricket Club in Crawley, before heading south-east towards Hastings where they will be play Westfield Cricket Club. The boys in blue will then enjoy a relaxing day in Brighton on the Friday, before heading west for their final two fixtures against Littlehampton (Saturday) and TBC* (Sunday).
"It's going to be an intense little period of games, but I hope the boys enjoy the experience of touring around Sussex and we get enough people signed up for the tour that we can rotate the squad." said Ciaran Hosty at a local book signing in WH Smiths in Edgware.
The final squad is expected to be announced in the next couple of days and the club will publicise the cost of participation.
