Captains announced for 2022 season

Edgware Cricket Club are delighted to announce the captains for the 2022 season.

Sajith Sriwickramsekaran will continue as club captain this season after a very successful debut in 2021, whilst Nakul Jilka will also continue as vice-captain. There will be no official second XI captain this year given the amount of rotation expected as a result of Saturday XI cricket, and instead Vidanda Galgamuwa will be promoted to third captain given Shuraj Vekaria's long-term absence.

As for T20 cricket, Rahul Kothari will assume the role of T20 XI captain for the second successive season and Ananya Dixit will once again serve as vice-captain for the Edgware Eagles.

We wish all our captains a successful 2022 and look forward to seeing plenty of success on the cricket field this year.
