Edgware to tour Menorca in October 2022

Edgware Cricket Club have today confirmed a proposed tour of Menorca, Spain between Friday 28 - Monday 31 October 2022. The tour forms part of Edgware Cricket Club's future tours programme (FTP) which is expected to be released over the next couple of months and will set out Edgware Cricket Club's provisional tours for 2021-2023.

Menorca

Menorca is one of Spain's Balearic Islands containing endless beaches and turquoise-watered bays. Edgware's hosts for the tour will be Menorca Cricket Club, a club founded in 1985 by a number of ex-pats who 7 years later opened their own ground at Biniparrell, now considered to be the most picturesque cricket ground in the Mediterranean.

Edgware will arrive to Menorca on the Friday (Thursday for keen individuals) before playing two 40-over fixtures against Menorca Cricket Club on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October. Edgware Cricket Club will also be handed special membership cards which will allow them up to 15% off at local restaurants and bars within the vicinity of the cricket ground.

Future Tours Programme

Whilst nothing is confirmed, it is anticipated other destinations set to feature as part of Edgware Cricket Club's future tour programme include visits to Australia, Sri Lanka and one other major European city.
